A native of Atlanta, Tim Jones began his career in 1974 selling Atlanta real estate. From there it was a natural step for him to begin his own Atlanta building business.

Since his beginning, he has expanded into several real estate and construction businesses. Along with home building he has created development, excavation and real estate companies to assist in the real estate development and home building process.

Among the many real estate awards Tim Jones Communities, Inc. has received is the Gold Award for single-family, detached homes given by the Greater Atlanta Home Builder Association and the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council. They have also received the prestigious Diamond Builder Award from 2/10 Homebuyer's Warranty. This award is bestowed upon home builders who have a proven track record for construction standards, design quality and customer service.
